For Minnesota Districts or Programs that are participating in the the State of Minnesota Great Start Compensation Support Payment program, Arux provides a certified API to automatically transmit reporting of the state required data.

The team at Arux Software communicates with the State of Minnesota to ensure this API reporting remains up to date and reflecting the current state requirements and standards.

To get started with Great Start Compensation Support Payment program in Arux, you will need to complete the following to ensure your information will be connected in the Provider Hub:

Adding License Info to Your Child Care Sites

To ensure accurate reporting of your data to the state, you need to add your state issued License Number to any child care sites that are providing care covered by Great Start Compensation.

Note:

If you do not know or want to confirm your License Info, you can use the State of Minnesota Licensing Information Lookup for more information.

To add your state License Info to your Child Care Sites from the Admin Portal:

  1. Select Child Care > Sites.
  2. Select the desired site from the list.
  3. Click Modify.
  4. In the Information section of the form, click to expand More Options.
  5. Enter the License Number.
  6. Click Save.
Important Note:

If your program provides care on Non-School Days, the License Number will automatically be applied based on any connected regular care sites.

If your Non-School Day Sites are not connected to a regular care site, the License Number can be added for the Non-School Day Site:

  1. Select Child Care > Non-School Day Sites.
  2. Selecting the desired Non-School Day Site from the list.
  3. Click Modify.
  4. Click to expand More Options.
  5. Enter the License Number.
  6. Click Save.

Setting Up Arux Connect: Child Care

All necessary information for reporting is collected in real time using the Arux Connect: Child Care app for iOS. Arux Connect: Child Care automatically syncs the required information with the Admin Portal and the data collected is transmitted to the state nightly. Any corrections made after the original transmission will be sorted automatically.

Note:

The following information about children's attendance is transmitted to the state:

  • Unique ID for the child
  • Sign-in time and date
  • Sign-out time and date
  • Unique ID(s) for pick-up/drop-off person(s)

Install the Arux Connect: Child Care on any iOS devices that will be used for collecting attendance data.
