Signing In and Out with Arux Connect: Child Care

If your district or program is using Arux Connect: Child Care, you can use the app to easily sign your students in or out. Depending on the security settings set by your district of program, signing in may or may not require a security code.

Note:

You do not need to download an app to sign your children in or out. The Arux Connect: Child Care app should be available on a Program or District provided device.

Signing In or Out

The default sign in/out screen prompts you to select your name and displays an alphabetical list of all the parents or authorized pickups that have students enrolled in care. The district or program can also set a message to be displayed at the top of the screen to make any announcements or reminders.

Note:

You can tap the Language Selection dropdown (displayed as EN by default) to change the language of instructional text to one of the following: Chinese, English, Somali, and Spanish.

To sign a student in or out:

  1. Scroll to or search for your name and tap it.
Note:
  • Use the Search bar to quickly find your name by typing it in.
  • Tap the rolodex dropdown to filter names by the first letter of your first name.
  • If you cannot find your name, or your student is missing from your account, please see a staff member at the Child Care Site for assistance.

The Select Options For Students screen is displayed.

  1. Select one or more students to sign in or out.
Note:

If multiple students share the same parent or authorized pickup, all students can be selected to be signed in or out at the same time.

  1. Tap Sign In or Sign Out.
    The Signature screen is displayed

The signature screen provides a line to sign on

  1. Sign your name.
  2. Tap Finished.
    The Confirmation screen is displayed.

  1. Tap Close.
    If Close is not tapped, the screen will revert to the name select screen in 5 seconds.

Signing In or Out With Security Codes

If your district or program is using security codes, you will be presented with a keypad to enter your security code.

To sign a student in or out with a security code:

  1. Enter the Security Code for your account.
    If you do not know your security code, see Locating Your Security Code below.
  2. Select your name.

  1. Tap Next.
    The Select Options For Students screen is displayed.

  1. Select one or more students to sign in or out.
Note:

If multiple students share the same parent or authorized pickup, all students can be selected to be signed in or out at the same time.

  1. Tap Sign In or Sign Out.
    The Signature screen is displayed

The signature screen provides a line to sign on

  1. Sign your name.
  2. Tap Finished.
    The Confirmation screen is displayed.

  1. Tap Close.
    If Close is not tapped, the screen will revert to the security code screen in 10 seconds.

Locating Your Security Code

If your district or program is using security codes, you can locate your security code from the Arux Community Portal.

You will need the Arux Community Portal website URL for your school or district.
If you do not have the website URL, please contact your district or school representative.

  1. Navigate to your program's Arux Community Portal site.
  2. Click Sign In in the upper-right of the screen.
  3. Log into your Arux account.
  4. Under Your Accounts, select your child care account.

Your security code is displayed under the On-Site Security Code section.
