FAQ
What if I forget my Access Key?
You will need an Access Key to launch the Arux Connect: Child Care app. This key links your device to a specific Child Care Site. If you don’t know your Access Key, contact your site administrator for help.
From the Admin Portal you can view Access Keys from the Sites List View or by generating an Access Key Report that lists all Child Care Sites in your Program.
Viewing Access Keys from the Admin Portal
To find and view a Site's Access Key from the Admin Portal:
- Select Child Care > Sites.
- Click Customize View in the lower-left corner.
- Under Columns and Site, select Access Key.
- Click View Results.
- The List View will update to show each site's Access Key.

How do I find a child's Security Code?
Security Codes are attached to a user's child care account. If Security Codes are enabled for your child care site, the Security Code is used on the Kiosk screen of Arux Connect: Child Care to allows parents to sign all children on the account in or out. Site staff and admin users can view Security Codes from within Arux Connect: Child Care or from the Admin Portal.
Viewing Security Codes in Arux Connect: Child Care
- Go to the Attendance tab in Arux Connect: Child Care.
- Tap the child's name to open the Child View page.
- Scroll down to Student Info.
- The 6-digit Security Code will be displayed.
Viewing Security Codes from the Admin Portal
- Select Child Care > Accounts.
- Search for or select the desired account and click View.
- Look for the On-Site Security Code in the Info panel on the right.
- The 6-digit Security Code will be displayed.
Viewing Security Codes for Parents from the Community Portal
If a parent needs to locate their Security Code, they can find it by accessing the District or Program's Community Portal:
- The parent can navigate to your program's Arux Community Portal and tap Sign In.
- Under Your Accounts, select the name of the Program.
- Scroll to the bottom to find the On-Site Security Code.
- The 6-digit Security Code will be displayed.
