Requesting Facilities Space

If enabled in Arux, the Community Portal allows you to request the use of approved facilities spaces from your program or district.

Note:

A facilities account is required to make a facilities request.

  • If allowed by the district or program, you can create a personal facilities account.
  • If you need a facilities account for a company or organization, contact your district or program.

You will need the Arux website URL for your program or district.
If you do not have the website URL, please contact your district or program representative.

For desktop devices
  1. Navigate to your program's Arux Community Portal site and click Sign In.
    The Sign In page is displayed.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Scroll to the footer and click Facility Use

Note:

If you do not have a facilities account, the following screen will be displayed:
We were unable to find your facility account. In order to start requesting use of facilities or to manage a facility account for an organization or company online we first need to give you access. Just send us a message or give us a call and you will be on your way to managing facility requests online. Looking to request facilities just for your own personal event or gathering?
If you are looking to request the use of facilities for yourself (not in association with an organization or company) you may Create a Personal Facility Account.

To create a personal facility account, click Create a Personal Facility Account and continue from step 5 below.

  1. Click Create a New Request.


The facility Request Info form is displayed.

  1. Enter the Purpose / Activity for the request.

  1. Optional: Enter the Number of People Attending by Age.
  2. Optional: Select What percentage of attendees that are district residents.
  3. Click Continue to Dates/Locations.
  4. Select the Location to request.
    The Filter Location field can be used to limit the displayed results.

  1. Select if you want to Choose Specific Room(s) or Don't Specify any Room(s).
  2. Optional: If you selected Choose Specific Room(s), select one or more rooms to request.
    The Filter Rooms field can be used to limit the displayed results.
  3. Select one or more Dates to request facilities.

Note:

When using the calendar, you can click name of the day to select all of those days within a month. Additionally, holding the Shift key when clicking the calendar allows you to select a date range.

  1. Enter the Start Time and End Time for your request.
  2. Optional: Enter the Setup Duration and/or Takedown Duration.
  3. Click Submit Series.
Note:

If there are any conflicts with the dates and times you selected, a prompt is displayed to fix the conflict, skip the conflict, or revise the request.

  1. Verify the Location, Dates, and Times, then click Continue to Next Step.
  2. Read and click to agree to the terms and conditions.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Optional: Enter any Setup Notes or Additional Information.
  5. Click Complete Questions and Continue.
    Options are available to edit any notes or modify the request.
  6. Review Your Facility Request and click Complete Facility Request.

Once completed, you can check the status of your facility request, modify, or cancel it by clicking Facility Use in the footer and selecting your facilities request.

For mobile devices
  1. Navigate to your program's Arux Community Portal site and tap the Hamburger icon.
    The navigation menu is displayed.
  2. Tap Sign In.
    The Sign In page is displayed.
  3. Sign in to your account.
    Your Account Dashboard is displayed.

  1. Scroll to the footer and tap Facility Use

Once completed, you can check the status of your facility request, modify, or cancel it by tapping the Hamburger icon, then Dashboard, and selecting your facility account under Accounts.
