Subscribing to Activities in Your District or Program

Arux provides RSS and iCal subscription feeds to keep you in the loop with activities and updates from your district or program.

To access the feeds, you will need the Arux website URL for your school or district. The URL to access the subscription feeds is the same as your district or organization's Arux Community Portal, appended with /subscriptions.

Example: https://YourDistrict.Arux.app/subscriptions

Navigating to that URL will present you with the Subscriptions page.

Using Subscriptions

The subscription feeds shown are based on pre-defined criteria such as holidays/days off and new and popular courses.

Each subscription can include iCal feed and may provide an RSS feed.

Using an iCal Link

iCal feeds provides subscription feed updates in a calendar format that can be used by calendar software like: Apple Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Calendar.

1. To open the iCal link in your calendar application, click the iCal button.
2. Open the iCal file in to your calendar application.

Using an RSS Link

RSS feeds provide subscription updates about content that can be used by software like: Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook, NewsFire, Firefox, and Safari. There are also dedicated RSS reader applications you can use to open these feeds.

1. To open the RSS feed link, right-click the RSS icon .
2. Select Copy Link Address.
3. Paste the RSS feed link into your RSS reader application.
