    Your privacy matters

    Arux Software’s mission is to be the leader in online program management and registration software for out of school programs across the country. As a leader, we are committed to being transparent about the data we collect. This Data & Privacy Policy will help you better understand how we collect, use, and share your information.

    This Privacy Policy applies when you use our Services (described below).

    “Arux”, “we”, “our”, or “us” means Arux Software, Inc., the entity responsible for the collection and use of personal data under this Privacy Policy.

    “Personal Data” means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual, and can include information about how you engage with our Services (i.e. device information, IP address).

    “Services” means the products and services that Arux indicates are covered by this Policy, which may include Arux-provided apps. Our “Business Services” are Services provided by Arux to entities (“Business Users”) who directly and/or indirectly provide us with “End Customer” Personal Data in connection with this Business Users’ own business and activities. Our “End User Services” are those Services which Arux directs to individuals (rather than entities) so that those individuals do business directly with our “End Customer”. “Sites” means Arux.software, Aruxsoftware.com, any other website Arux may own or operate, or any other website that Arux indicates are covered by this Policy. Collectively, we refer to Sites, Business Services, and End User Services as “Services”.

    Depending on the context, “you” means End User or End Customer.

    • When you directly use an End User Service (such as the Arux online registration software, Arux Connect: Child Care, or Arux Connect: Courses), we refer to you as an “End User”.
    • When you do business with, or otherwise transact with, a Business User (ie. when you purchase child care from an entity who uses Arux’ services) but are not directly doing business with Arux, we refer to you as an “End Customer”.

    Information collected

    End Users

    Arux offers a comprehensive software platform to our End Users. At times, Arux may collect personal data from you based on how you engage with our Services.

    End Customers

    Arux offers Business Services to our Business Users. When we are acting as a Business User’s service provider (or data processor), we will process and share Personal Data in accordance with the terms of our agreement with the Business User. For example, we process online registrations and payment transactions for a Business User because you enrolled in a child care service or purchased a course offered by them.

    Personally Identifiable Data

    When directly using an End User Service, Arux collects Personally Identifiable Data to provide our Business Services to our Business Users. End Customers can manage and edit their data at any time. Personally Identifiable Data may include (but is not limited to):

    • Parent/Guardian Data
      • IP addresses
      • Email addresses
      • Addresses
      • Phone numbers
      • First and last name
    • Student Data
      • Attendance data
      • First and last name
      • Date of birth
      • Gender
      • Ethnicity
      • Grade level
      • Special Needs
      • Address
      • Email
      • Phone
      • Student (local) ID number
      • Student state ID number
      • Assigned ID number

    Transaction Data

    “Transaction Data” collected when directly using an End User Service may include Personal data, and may also include the following: your name, email address, billing address, payment method information, purchase amount, date of purchase, and information about what you have purchased.

    How we use and share your information
    We generally use and share Personal Data of End Customers with Business Users to provide Business Services as described below, as well as for Arux’s own purposes to secure, improve, and provide our Business Services, as described below.

    • Registration - We share your Personal Data, along with Personally Identifiable Information, with Business Users as part of the Business Services we provide. This data is generally used to ensure enrollments, attendances, and invoices are accurately represented within our Services.
    • Payments - We use your Transaction Data to provide payment related Business Services to Business Users, primarily to process online payment transactions, along with invoice, bill, and to calculate their revenue.
      • For payment transactions, your Personal Data is shared with a number of parties in connection with your transaction such as card networks, bank brands, and other Arux financial affiliates. Because we directly integrate with a service provider or processor, we share Personal Data to enable the transaction. For example, when you choose to use a payment method for the transaction (e.g. credit card, debit card), your payment method will receive the Transaction Data that includes your Personal Data to ensure the transaction can be processed. Please review your payment method’s privacy policy to learn more about how they use and share this information.

    Communications
    Arux does not sell your information to third-parties or third party services, although you may be contacted by us or our End Customers as part of the Business Services and End User Services provided.

    • How we may contact End Users - We may contact End Users via email, live chat, through our help desk, or by phone.
    • How we may contact End Customers - Arux services automatically send emails to End Customers for things such as enrollment confirmation, invoice notifications, and schedule change confirmations. In the case that Arux needs to contact you directly, we may contact you through email, support (tickets), live chat, or by phone.
    • How End Users may contact End Customers - When using our Business Services, End Users have access to End Customer information and may contact them by phone and/or email. Additionally, as a capability provided as part of Arux’s Services, End Users may contact End Customers via SMS text messaging. End Users may also, at times, use Arux’s Business Services to market additional products or services offered directly to you.

    Account Deletion Request

    To delete your account and associated personal data, contact our support through the website's contact options (email, form, or phone). We'll verify your identity for security purposes. Once confirmed, we'll delete your account and data, noting the action is irreversible. Some data may be retained temporarily as required by law. Contact our support team for any questions or further assistance.

    Changes to this Privacy Policy

    Arux reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason and without notice.
